Where your Troublegivings are going

We are proud to support the following current TroubleGiving Partners:

Essie Justice Group

Essie Justice Group is a nonprofit organization of women with incarcerated loved ones taking on the rampant injustices created by mass incarceration. The Healing to Advocacy Model builds a membership of fierce advocates for race and gender justice — including Black and Latinx women, formerly and currently incarcerated women, transgender women, and gender non-conforming people.

STEM From Dance

The STEM field includes some of the most high-impact jobs in the world and they’re working to show girls of color that STEM is for them. Girls of color rarely see people like them in STEM fields.

They are on a mission to end race and gender disparity in STEM. According to the National Science Foundation, 29% of people employed in STEM fields are women, while Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, and Latina women make up just 4.87%

Gotham Scholars

Gotham Scholars is a 501C3 education non-profit that supports highly motivated NY public high school students with academic enrichment, extracurricular activities, mentorship and college access. It is their mission to help bring equity and diversity to college classrooms and beyond.
